Purpose

The purpose of the West Virginia Democratic Legislative Council is to maintain and increase Democratic control of the West Virginia Legislature. The WVDLC assists members of the Legislature and nominees with their respective elections to the body; it helps members to be successful legislators and it may recruit candidates to run for seats not currently held by Democrats.
